Privacy Notice

Last updated: 22 September 2026

This notice explains what personal data Carevoro collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and what rights you have.

1. Who we are

Carevoro operates the senior care matching platform at carevoro.com. Carevoro is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice — we decide why and how it is processed. You can reach us at cyberprosoftware@gmail.com.

2. What we collect and why

  • Care enquiry details — the name and contact details you give us, who care is for, care types, location, timing, budget and any notes. Used to generate matches and care reports and to connect you with suitable communities. Legal basis: performance of a contract / steps taken at your request.
  • Account data — email address, login credentials, and for providers company name, contact name, phone number and the community you manage. Used to create and secure your account and provide the provider dashboard. Legal basis: contract performance.
  • Tour requests and support messages — the content of what you send us. Used to fulfil the request and respond to you. Legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interests.
  • Usage and technical data — pages viewed, device and browser information, IP address and error logs. Used to keep the service secure, diagnose faults and improve the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests in running a secure, working service.
  • Marketing contact — where you opt in, we may send product updates. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not ask for medical records or clinical information. Please do not include sensitive health details in free-text fields beyond what is needed to describe the level of care required.

3. Who we share data with

  • Care communities and providers — when you ask to be matched or request a tour, we pass the relevant enquiry details to the communities involved so they can respond.
  • Service providers and subprocessors — hosting, database, email delivery, AI processing and analytics vendors acting on our instructions.
  • Payment processor — Stripe processes all paid plans and handles payments, subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing and billing support. Stripe receives payment card data directly; we never receive or store your full card details.
  • Professional advisers — legal, accounting and insurance advisers where necessary.
  • Authorities — where required by law, regulation or to protect our legal rights.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Carevoro is based in the United States and our vendors may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data is transferred from the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

5. How long we keep data

  • Care enquiries and tour requests: up to 24 months from your last interaction, so we can support follow-up.
  • Provider accounts, subscriptions and purchase records: for the life of the account and then as long as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes (typically 7 years).
  • Technical and security logs: typically up to 12 months.

When data is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive it in a portable format, withdraw consent, and opt out of marketing. California residents may request disclosure or deletion of personal information and may opt out of any sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise a right, email cyberprosoftware@gmail.com. We aim to respond within one month. UK/EEA users also have the right to complain to their local supervisory authority.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, encrypted storage, row-level access controls on our database, restricted administrative access and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, but we review our controls regularly.

8. Cookies

Essential cookies and local storage keep you signed in, secure the site, and remember saved and compared communities. These are necessary for those features to work. Analytics is optional and off by default: only with your permission does Carevoro load its own first-party page counter, which records the pages you view, the referring page, and anonymous visitor and session identifiers held in your browser. Without permission, no analytics is collected at all. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

The cookie banner lets you allow or reject optional analytics. We store your choice, the time you made it, and the version of the notice you saw in your browser so you do not need to choose on every visit. Your choice is respected across tabs, and the page counter stops the moment you withdraw it. You can change or withdraw it at any time using Cookie settings below. Clearing browser storage may reset your choice.

9. Changes and contact

We will update this notice when our practices change and revise the date above. Questions or concerns: cyberprosoftware@gmail.com.
